Làm sạch tôm, bỏ phần chỉ trên. Làm khô tôm bằng khăn giấy sau đó rắc muối và hạt tiêu ở 2 bề mặt tôm. Chuẩn bị 3 bát: 1 bát trứng đã khuấy, 1 bát bột mì và 1 bát dừa nạo.

Đun nóng dầu ăn. Tôm lăn bột, nhúng trứng rồi lăn quả dừa nạo. Sau đó thả tôm vào chảo chiên chín giòn thì vớt ra để ráo dầu. Để làm chấm, cho mứt cam và tương ớt ngọt vào bát nhỏ rồi làm nóng trong lò vi sóng trong khoảng 30 giây, sau đó trộn nước chanh vào.
