Đầu tiên, cho bột mì, men nở vào tô. Đổ 1 chén nước ấm vào, trộn đều thành khối bột mềm, mịn.
Chia bột thành 2 phần, phần bột nhỏ bằng 1/6 phần bột to. Sau đó, nhỏ vài giọt màu thực phẩm đỏ vào phần bột nhỏ, trộn đều.
Lấy phần bột màu đỏ ra, ngắt một phần nhỏ, ấn hơi dẹt để làm mõm và tai cho heo như này nè. Đậu đỏ đãi sạch, ngâm nước khoảng 1 giờ hoặc qua đêm cho mềm, cho vào nồi, hấp chín, nghiền nhuyễn.
Phần bột màu trắng nhào sơ qua, dùng dao cắt làm 5 phần bằng nhau. Vo tròn bột, ấn dẹp, cho nhân đậu đỏ vào giữa, vo tròn lại.
Lấy phần mõm, tai heo thấm nước sạch, dán vào phần bột nhân đậu đỏ. Canh làm sao cho cân đối, dùng 2 hạt mè đen làm mắt heo.
Cho bánh bao vào xửng hấp có lót sẵn 1 lớp giấy nến, hấp chín.
Thành quả đây nè cả nhà ơi! Nhìn sao mà yêu thế. Món bánh bao hình chú heo này mà dành tặng cho người ấy thì tuyệt nhỉ?
